About

M.R. COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SCIENCE AND RESEARCH CENTRE, approved by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI)/Govt. of India, has been established in 2021. The College is affiliated to Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LUVAS), Hisar. It has been established with a vision “to create a world renowned centre of excellence in teaching, research and extension education in veterinary and animal sciences field”

The Institute follows the course curriculum for B.V.Sc. & A.H. as per the Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education (MSVE 2016) prescribed by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI), New Delhi.

The college provides expert faculty and excellent facilities which are essential for accomplishing the goals as determined by the aspirants. The elaborate buildings are available for teaching with well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, and well-facilitated residential accommodation for college students.The college as per MSVE regulations has established the departments with modern state- of- art facilities with round the clock functional veterinary clinical complex to cater to the needs of livestock farmers in the region as well as functional livestock farm complex with different species of animals and poultry for practical teaching of the students.

Besides, extracurricular activities like sports and cultural programs, the college will provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context and are thus considered part of a well-rounded education.

  • TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH PROGRAM RECOGNISED NATIONALLY IN THE FIELD OF VETERINARY AND ANIMAL SCIENCES INCLUDING DAIRY SCIENCE.

The scope of veterinary medicine is broad and constantly expanding. Here’s an overview of the major areas where veterinary professionals can work:
